Conversion of Police Station to Dwelling House, Newmills, Dunfermline

Single storey, flat roofed building housed the Police station in Newmills, near Dunfermline.

The transformation to a one and a half storey dwelling house is almost complete!

There was no particular brief from the client other than to make it impressive!

New Dwelling, Dunfermline

This dwelling is one and a half storey at the front and two and a half storey at the rear, utilising the existing ground slope. The use of facing brick in different colours helps to create interest in the elevation and will look fresh for years to come.

New eco-friendly dwelling, Pyatshaw, Lauder, Scottish Borders

My client had very clear ideas as to exactly what he wanted to achieve spatially, environmentally and aesthetically with this building.

The dwelling utilised renewable, locally sourced products to construct this beautiful family home. The external timber and stone façade gives little clue to the ornate, hand crafted green oak frames that live inside.

The dwelling utilises a carbon zero, wood burning stove to produce heat within the structure and equally carbon rated, recycled insulation to keep it in!

Reportech Ltd produced a fully rendered 3 dimensional model. The graphics generated achieved Planning Permission at first time of asking! No mean feat for a new dwelling located in the beautiful countryside that is the Scottish Borders.
